Reality has turned into a place where humans have turned to small devices that scroll short clips and have forgotten how to make white sauce without using a convenient, prepared soup packet, I bring you my corner. That's me, in the photo, far right, next to Bill and Lydia from the Impending Doom tale, as well as Maude, Ziggy and Toshi who are... well... in every tale.
This website is 100% human-written, although the images are AI-generated. Everything here is free, but it would be nice if you subscribed, so I know you're reading. Some journeys are multiple-choice, and occasionally you might be asked to engage your brain to solve a riddle or work out a puzzle.
The characters are a little eccentric. They wouldn't be here if they weren't. Nobody wants to read about dull Debbie in payroll. But, I think, as a society, we are a little overdone with stories about good-looking, plastic-altered people called Chris or Emma, who can do no wrong, either. We want to hear stories about everyday people that are doing things that are a little out of the ordinary. I hope you find that here.
To ensure that you also don't yell at the characters for making bad choices (anyone else have a problem with that pedophile vampire covered in glitter glue?), some journeys have options to make your own decision and live your own life. Not too much, though... I don't want you to feel like you have to now make yet another decision in your life on top of working out what you have to eat every day. No, these decisions are more like opinions, and who doesn't like giving an opinion?
